Structured cabling and rack
Office
Typical fit-out scope: workstation data points, a maintainable rack, dual-end labels, and a test record for every copper link.
This is a typical office cabling and rack scope used when a floor is fitted out or refurbished. It is a reference scope for quotation, not a named-client completion record. Before work starts we confirm floor plans, point counts, faceplate heights, rack location, and how power and data share the room. After installation you receive labels that match both ends and a simple point list with test status so future changes stay orderly.
Requirements
New or refitted offices need points where people sit, a rack that can be maintained, and records the next contractor can follow. Meeting rooms and wireless AP locations should be on the same drawing so cabling is not added later as temporary runs.
Solution
Route Cat6 or Cat6A to the floor plan, dress the rack and patch panels, label both ends, and test each link. Fiber is added only when the building backbone requires it. Containment paths and spare capacity at the patch panel are agreed before pulling cable.
